National Volunteer week – April 19- 25th 2020
National Volunteer week is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, to build stronger communities and be a force that transforms the world. Each year, we shine a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve, recognizing and thanking volunteers who lend their time, talent and voice to make a difference in their communities.
During this difficult time we would love to send a heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated people in our community who are volunteering their precious time, calling seniors, taking groceries to those who aren’t able to get out, delivering meals on wheels and anything else they can to help each other get through.
We truly thank you.
Selkirk & District Seniors resource council Inc. would also like to thank both past & present volunteers who have volunteered with our organization.
You inspire us every day and we really couldn’t do it without all of you.
This National Volunteer Week, thank a volunteer for all they do.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, stay healthy and active, gain new experiences, use your skills and enjoy life. We are always looking for dedicated, passionate, and friendly individuals to complement our team.
